Stoughton Extended Day is a private, non-profit organization started by parents in 1989. We provide a safe, fun, educational environment for your children.
We are certified by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). We offer a 10-1 staff to child ratio or better which exceeds EEC regulations. We currently serve children from K-8th Grades who live in Stoughton in our before and after school programs, our summer camp, and our vacation programs throughout the school year.
We also operate The Preschool at Stoughton Extended Day for children 15 months through pre-kindergarten. The Preschool is NAEYC accredited and is open year round. If you would like further information please call Beverly Arsenault at 781-341-0886.

We are now accepting registrations for our NAEYC accredited preschool program. We offer full and half day programs at theEdwin A. Jones Early Childhood Center in the heart of Stoughton. The Preschool at Stoughton Extended Day provides an exceptional staff, large classrooms, competitive pricing and flexable scheduling. New for the Fall 2009 we are now offering a toddler program for children 15 months- 2.9 years. 3-12-10 Kids Night In "Movie and pizza night" (Grades 5-8)- On Friday Night, March 12th please join us for a movie and pizza night from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. We will be watching a movie (PG-13) on our 50-inch wide screen TV in the luxurious middle school room at the Jones site. There will be plenty of other fun activities and pizza will be served. The cost is $15.00. All activities and refreshments are included. Download Form: KNI 3-12-10
3-19-10 Kids Night In "PJ PARTY" (Grades 2-5)-On Friday night, March 19th, SED children in Grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 are invited to a night of fun and relaxation. We will have a light supper, a movie, snacks and other activities in the luxurious middle school room at the Jones site. All activities and refreshments are included. 4-8-10 Early Thursday- We will be having our annual Dodgeball Tournament. Check with your site coordinator for details. The Middle school is dismissed at 11:32 a.m. and the Elementary schools are dismissed at 12:20PM.
4-19-10 / 4-23-10 April Vacation Program- Our program will be open from Monday, April 19 through Friday, April 23, 2010. Hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We are located at the Edwin Jones Elementary School (Lower Level), 137 Walnut Street, Stoughton. Space is limited, so please sign up ASAP to secure a spot.
