Stoughton Extended Day is a private, non-profit organization started by parents in 1989. We provide a safe, fun, educational environment for your children.
We are certified by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). We offer a 10-1 staff to child ratio or better which exceeds EEC regulations. We currently serve children from K-8th Grades who live in Stoughton in our before and after school programs, our summer camp, and our vacation programs throughout the school year.
We also operate The Preschool at Stoughton Extended Day for children 15 months through pre-kindergarten. The Preschool is also certified by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and is open year round. If you would like further information please call 781-341-0886.

We are now accepting registrations for our accredited preschool program. We offer full and half day programs at theEdwin A. Jones Early Childhood Center in the heart of Stoughton. The Preschool at Stoughton Extended Day provides an exceptional staff, large classrooms, competitive pricing and flexable scheduling. We offer a toddler program for children 15 months- 2.9 years. Zumba classes have started at the Jones sites. The Hansen Site class was a big hit! The Jones Site class will run from Jan.6, through February 10, 2012. No sign-ups needed, just join the fun!!!!
January 24, 2011-SED Basketball will begin. Practice will be held for 5 weeks every Tuesday at the Jones Site and every Wednesday at the Hansen Site from 4:00-4:45 PM for grades K-3, and from 4:45-5:45 PM for grades 4-8. March 6, 2012-Presidential Primary-NO SCHOOL- We will be offering a one-day program at the Jones Site location. Registration is required. We will be open from 7:30AM-6:00PM with special activities, games and treats all day.
